Assessment of Professional Development (APD)
The Assessment of Professional Development is the gateway assessment to achieve Chartered status. It is open to applicants who have Graduate or Voting membership of the CIEH and provides a means to demonstrate your professional skills and attributes.
APD replaced the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) from 1 January 2006.
A full description of the APD scheme and guidance for applicants is provided in the Guidance Manual. The APD Regulations provide the formal framework for the scheme.
The current fee for APD part 1 is £75.00 and part 2 is £150.00.
