Professional Examinations

On successful completion of an accredited degree and your Experiential Learning Portfolio, you can apply for the last stage of qualification – the Professional Examinations.

The Examinations comprise:

  • a written paper concentrating on environmental health interventions
  • an interview

On passing the Examinations, you will be awarded the Certificate of Registration by the Environmental Health Registration Board and will be a fully qualified environmental health practitioner.

That’s the hard part over, but like all professionals you will undertake Continuing Professional Development throughout your career. CIEH provides a comprehensive range of courses, conferences, seminars and events to help you along the way.
